Good cause: July 25 concussion/cancer research fundraiser
It's in Toronto, called smashfest (a ping-pong tourney featuring NHL players and alum) and this year, some of the funds will go to the Dominic Moore Foundation for research and programs as well as toward concussion research.
Moore, who started his career with the Rangers, returns to New York this season. His wife, Katie, died last January, nine months after she was diagnosed with a rare form of liver cancer.
