We'll see how referees adjust to the quickly-enacted NHL rule, approved this AM by the NHLPA Exec Board, which "prohibits "lateral, back-pressure or blind-side hit to an opponet where the head is targeted and/or the principal point of contact."

                NHLPA says it agreed to a temporary implementation trhoguh this season and the playoffs to allow time this summer to "develop and consider a proper and full-time rule that includes an on-ice penalty component."

                 Have to agree with NHLPA on that element.

                 For now, NHL Hockey Ops is empowered to review any such hit and impose suspensions, etc...
