Henrik Lundqvist goes the whole game tonight in Newark

 John Tortorella said Lundqvist, who had a tender groin at the start of camp a week ago, will get the entire game tonight against the Devils.

Here's some other tidbits relating to tonight:

-- C Todd White will play, despite caution over his surgically repaired shoulder. "He begged. He begged the trainers to let him go, so he's in," Tortorella said.

-- Vinny Prospal (knee) stayed off the ice today and won't join the team for the Devils game or the visit to Detroit tomorrow. "We're just being careful there," Tortorella said. Prospal had the same knee 'scoped in December.

-- Derek Boogaard, Dale Weise and Ruslan Fedotenko are the three going tonight who played Thursday.

-- And, lastly, expect some more roster cuts after tonight's game and/or after tomorrow's game in Detroit.
