Kris Newbury re-signed; Adios to Chad (Dos Nueves) Johnson
TSN is reporting that C Kris Newbury, 30, has signed a two-year, two-way deal with the Rangers. Newbury played eight games for the big club with one assist; the rest was spent in Connecticut.
And speaking of Connecticut, Chad Johnson (No. 29, but nicknamed "dos" because of Mr. Ochocinco) is gone. After being surpassed as the 3rd backup goalie by Cam Talbot, Johnson signed a two-way deal with the Coyotes.

Brandon Prust is going to break the bank with somebody. And he's earned it, I guess, in this crazy market.
