Live from DC: Rangers practicing at 11

Will be walking over to Verizon Center in a few.  (Caps are skating at their practice rink) Shorts and t-shirt weather here. Lots of writing on tap today, including my Sunday Insider page, but not complaining.

FYI, the Whale, up 1-0, play Game 2 in their second-round series vs Norfolk tonight. G Cam Talbot  has been instrumental in the four straight wins (31 saves in the 3-2 OT victory in Game 1). J.T. Miller's assist was his first pro point. LW Marek Hrivik, another goal, that's five in three games. Interesting mix of vets and kids in lineup.
