After Gaborik's collision with Henrik Lundqvist, during which the goalie's skate hit Gaborik's knee, the Rangers leading scorer limped off the ice.
The report from assistant GM Jim Schoenfeld: said Gaborik was being stitched up for a laceration in the trainers room and that there was no indication of a groin or knee issue. He was not hospitalized and Schoenfeld said no X-rays were deemed necessary. Gaborik was not available for comment, a team spokesman said.
Schoenfeld declined to say whether Gaborik would be available for tomorrow's game against Nashville.
