Many of the beat writers have mused about this for more than a week and advocated it (check the clips,  I thought he'd be on the road  trip, for example), and the Rangers finally pulled the trigger. Mats Zuccarello has been recalled from Hartford.

Zuke, 12-24-36 in 37 games in the AHL and a plus 5, was on the roster for the first two games in Sweden and the first U.S. game against the Islanders.

Assume he's in tonight, and John Scott out.

The timing of the recall is a little strange. He wasn't here for the morning skate, so perhaps the inability of Ryan Callahan to go prompted this decision. Otherwise, he could have skated with the club this morning. Have to assume he will at least be on the PP and available in the shootout.
