Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final averaged 6.4 million viewers Saturday night on NBC, making it the most-watched Game 2 of a Final, according to records dating to 1994, and more than double the 2.9 million that Game 2 of the Kings-Devils Final drew in 2012.

In New York, an average of 10.5 percent of homes watched, up from 10.1 for Game 1 and the highest-rated NHL game ever on NBC or NBCSN in New York.

The rating of 8.9 in Los Angeles was second only in that market to Game 6 of the 2012 Stanley Cup Final, when the Kings won their first Cup.
