Prospect Jesper Fast (not Fasth) signs contract
Jesper Fast, a forward who played in the Swedish Elite League, has signed a three-year entry level deal with the Rangers. Fast, 20, a sixth round draft pick in 2010, had five goals and 11 assists in 21 games. He missed three months with a fractured ankle suffered on Nov. 29. Somewhere along the way, a decision was made to change his last name from Fasth, it appears. Can't tell you more than that.
