Quenneville likes Hawks track record of responding after losses
The Chicago Blackhawks have quickly rebounded from losses throughout the playoffs. They lost Games 1 and 3 to the Preadtors in the fiorst round, and captured 2 and 4. They lost Games 1 and 5 to Vancouver and won 2 and 6.
"We've liked the response," said Joel Quenneville. In Tuesday's Game 3 loss, he said, the third period was suspect. "Giving up a goal right away (after Patrick Kane's breakaway provided a 3-2 lead), we lost a lot of momentum. We still had a lot of chances, but we need to be better in the third."
Andrew Ladd could see his first action of the series after sustaining an upper body injury against San Jose. Quenneville called it a game-time decision
I called defenseman Brent Sopel underrated here the other today and Quenneville spoke about how he has been "recognized as a penalty-killer and shot blocker. He's progressed each and every round, and is now absorbing more minutes. He stilll has ability to make plays in the gaps---that's how he scored the other night--- but around the net his thought process is very high end."
