Rangers open preseason at home against Devils on Sept. 18

The Rangers will open their 2019 preseason schedule against the Devils on Sept. 18 at Madison Square Garden, the team announced Tuesday.
The Blueshirts will play six preseason games in 11 days against all Metropolitan Division opponents, including two games against the Islanders. The Rangers host the Islanders on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at Madison Square Garden before concluding the preseason on the road against the Isles at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut on Saturday, Sept. 28.
