Rangers sign Miller
The Rangers signed J.T. Miller, their 2011 first-round pick, to a three-year entry-level contract Thursday. Miller, who played for the U.S. National Development Team before the Rangers selected him with the No. 15 pick last month, is headed to the Ontario Hockey League to play for Plymouth in the fall. He was committed to North Dakota but decided to play junior hockey to be better prepared for turning pro, possibly by the 2012-13 season.
