Report from Ottawa: Sens hosting NYR at 2 p.m.
Here's a flurry of random pregame info from Canadian Tire Centre:
Coach Alain Vigneault is sending out the same lineup---except for his goalie---for the sixth straight game...
As reported yesterday Cam Talbot gets the start, his second in last 11.
The Sens will have shift-disturber Chris Neil back after he missed six games with a sore hammy. You'll remember Mr. Neil's playoff encounters with Brian Boyle in Game 5 in 2012 and Michael Del Zotto, of course, and I imagine we'll see some activity between he and Dan Carcillo this afternoon.
Coach Paul MacLean deadpanned today, "I don't know what kind of history he has with the Rangers", but I'm thinking NY fans have a pretty good idea..
In goal for the Sens, who lost 5-4 to Montreal here in OT Thursday, is Craig Anderson 15-9-6, 3.16 GAA, .903 SP...Rangers have scored just one goal in each of last two games, think they'll need three today at least.
Sens are 11-10-5 at CTC; NYR 14-10-0 on da road
Lyndon Slewidge with the anthems is always worth hearing live...
