Ryan Clowe in town already....
Will be at Rangers optional this morning, and speaking with Ryan Clowe, who took red-eye, perhaps will play against Penguins at MSG tonight at 7:30.
SportsNet's Hockey Central spoke with him on the phone a few minutes ago, I posted some excerpts on Twitter.
Here's some: "I was kind of leaning toward giving the East a try."
"Hoping to get off the schneid and get on a streak. I think I will." Confirms decision was between NYR/Canucks
"I've had a ton of (scoring) chances. Think I've played my best hockey in the last few weeks."
"I'll probably play tonight, I guess..."
As reported last night---and for several weeks by many---Rangers are looking to add some D help. No surprise after Staal injury.
One possibility, as TSN noted, Ryan O'Byrne from Colorado. Big boy.
