Scrimmage Day 3, Mitchell signs, Swiss exhibition on tap

John Mitchell, the center acquired from the Maple Leafs last season who scored 17 points in 24 games in Hartford and was their best forward in the playoffs, according to Bruce Berlet, has been re-signed.

The Rangers will play another exhibition in Europe on Oct. 3 against EV Zug in  Zug, Switzerland. So it's three exhibitions in three countries; Czech Republic (Sept 29), Sweden (Frolunda Indians, 30th) and Switzerland.
