Stu Bickel sent to AHL; Jeff Woywitka en route to Sweden
Bickel had to go back to the U.S., under NHL rules---which should be altered when teams are in Europe. What's wrong with a healthy scratch? Just forbid him to dress over the weekend and go back with the club or be fined. He already cleared waivers.
Woywitka may not be around for the morning skate, and probably cannot play Saturday either, unless there's an emergency. So Tim Erixon and Steve Eminger are the probable third pair against the Kings. Brendan Bell will be available on Saturday if needed.
Remember, the gamesd televised on MSG at 1 p.m. Tomorrow.
