We've all speculated and calculated and gone out on a limb in print and tried to squeeze it out of Alain Vigneault, until today when he made it official: It's Cam Talbot's turn at ScotiaBa, er, Canadien Tire Centre in Kanata tomorrah.

It'll only be Talbot's 2nd start in 11 games; he sat out three in Florida and Pittsburgh, made 26 saves in the 7-1 raking of the Leafs in TO on Jan. 4, then has been watching Henrik Lundqvist for six games.

No other lineup changes expected against the Sens, although AV said at practice (and a stick tap to Newsday's Gene Morris for stepping in) he wasn't 100 percent sure whether D Justin Falk (healthy scratch for nine games) would play on the third pair, which means John Moore or Mike Del Zotto sits.

Me, I'd use Falk aginst the bulkier Caps on Sunday, at MSG when Lundqvist will return, but I'm not the coach, just another traveller who agreed to get his irises scanned today at Canadian customs in order to qualify for a NEXUS card to avoid immigation lines.

By the way, they discovered that my eyes as always, are red, white and blue, folks, with a little glint in 'em every once in a while from growing up in New York.

Anyway,  that's a quick summary, will toss up some quotes that Mr. Morris acquired a bit later. Duty calls: Have to hash out my Sunday Insider and shake the last remnants of this January cold...
