Tim Kennedy, Todd White clear waivers; NYR: No claims

                    Kennedy said he there were "some emotions" and told his family yesterday that his stay in New York might be brief, but "was relieved" when reporters told him today he had cleared.

                    "Now that that's over and I'm here, I'm just going to keep working hard," he said."I just need to show them that I belong."

                  Sean Avery grappled with Marian Gaborik during a drill when Gaborik was going to the net, seemed PO'd afterward. He was flexing his left leg, then intensified his physical play the next  time Avery was guarding him.
