FIRST: Smokem’s Charm has won three of last four at Finger Lakes; ready for the big time. Sudden Surprise was a three-length winner at this level in last at Spa; very dangerous. Pegasus Red was second to “Surprise” at 36-1 last time; must include.
SECOND: Got the Gist tallied solid late-pace figure when a tough-trip fourth in last; more to come. Piquet owns two seconds and a third from four starts; dangerous. Dream Passage was done in by hot fractions when fourth at even money last time; logical, short-priced player.
THIRD: Turco Bravo fired 5-furlong bullet since last start; forward move predicted. Rich Daddy was second to a much-the-best winner in last at Monmouth; very interesting. Flash Trading was a winner in Spa loam last summer; don’t ignore.
FOURTH: Fairybrook logged fast-figured maiden score in first start at Saratoga; pairs up. Say Cin Cin is training with a purpose for first start in 57 days; worth long look. Anna Rae returns to claiming ranks; competitive on best.
FIFTH: Unbridledadventure was a clear-cut winner in race taken off grass last time; transfers sharp form to sod today. Cashless Society is 2-for-3 and hails from Chad Brown barn; underlay potential. Courtly Kitty packs solid late kick on “A” game.
SIXTH: Lone Sentry tallied rapid final fraction when fourth in debut; more to give. Get the Facts moves to grass for Mark Casse; very interesting. Campaign and Voting Control are uncoupled newcomers from Chad Brown barn; you’ve been warned.
SEVENTH: Indy Union made smooth rally when fourth in debut; good effort from which to move forward. More Mojo logged four tight works since third behind a next-out winner in last; very playable. Pink Sands was purchased for $625K as a yearling and noticeably picked up the tempo in final workout; could be the goods.
EIGHTH: Rubilinda owns edge on final figures and hails from Chad Brown barn; need more? Miko has won two straight but could be overlooked in the wagering because of comparatively slow numbers; worth long look. Kahrumana is speedy and could prove very tough on an unchallenged lead.
NINTH: Mizz Tutu notched solid late-pace figure when a clear-cut winner in first start on Saratoga soil; more to come. Kirby’s Penny is speedy, owns fast numbers and has won three of last four starts; paltry price is the problem. Sheplaysthefield is riding a forward line on the numbers; don’t ignore.
TENTH: Dawn the Destroyer has trained sharply since tallying swift final fraction when winning on July 24; call in ultra-contentious Prioress Stakes. Vertical Oak was victimized by sizzling splits in Test Stakes last time; very dangerous with softer flow. Sister Kan has won four in a row on Midwest circuit; right in the thick of this.
ELEVENTH: Burkie was a useful fourth in debut; gets call if able to escape AE list. Cross Multiply was a much-improved third in first grass start; developing and dangerous. Blue Atlas has logged fast figures in both starts; logical, short-priced threat. Scoopsie Patato is from a dam that’s thrown a turf winner; follow the money.
