1050 ESPN radio parts ways with its program director

Aaron Spielberg, the program director at 1050 ESPN Radio since 2007, left the ratings-challenged station Thursday, WatchDog has learned.

No word yet on a successor.

“I don’t want to comment on why personnel decisions are made, whether they are mutual or by one side,’’ 1050 general manager Dave Robert s said.

“Moving forward our goal is to look for the very best person we can for the role so we can maximize all of the resources we have in terms of on-the-air talent, programming and play-by-play assets, which are all benefits of working for this company.”
