Congratulations to Bill Madden of the Daily News and Jon Miller of ESPN as they are honored today by the Baseball Hall of Fame's writing and announcing wings.
And happy 30th birthday to "Caddyshack," an all-time sports movie classic.
I was working as a country club bus boy at the time, and when I first saw it I mostly was disappointed it was all about golf, with only one scene in the club dining room.
