Buffalo, Syracuse love hoops
There some significant ticket-selling issues for the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament, notably in New Orleans, but other venues did just fine.
That includes Buffalo, where tickets on the secondary market averaged $615 entering the tournament, according to FanSnap.com.
That was nearly double the average for Jacksonville.
Perhaps that's no surprise, given that Syracuse is playing there.
But of the four regional sites next week, Syracuse had the highest resale costs, and the Orangemen are not permitted to play there.
Evidently central and western New Yorkers just love their hoops.
