Cablevision to carry ESPNU
WatchDog has learned ESPNU will be available on Cablevision for the first time later this week, most likely on iO Channel 144 as well as an HD channel.
Cablevision (which owns Newsday) said it has nothing to announce at this time, but two people familiar with the situation said the channel is on its way - just in time for the NCAA men's hockey tournament!
The addition of ESPNU presumably is part of the carriage agreement between Cablevision and Disney / ABC that returned Ch. 7 to Cablevision homes after it disappeared for most of the day March 7.
