Chris Berman has extended his soon-to-expire contract with ESPN, which is as it should be.

The amazing thing is that ESPN is so rich it has money left over to keep its core people even after paying Rick Reilly.

The Worldwide Leader is like the Yankees:

It can absorb a bad contract and just move on.
