Decker Communications, which consults and trains business types on delivering messages effectively, is out with its 19th annual list of Top 10 Best and Worst Communicators and, sure enough, old No. 2 made the good list at No. 4.

"Grateful to his parents, humble, well-mannered -- this is the kind of role model we want for our kids," the list said of Derek Jeter. (Reporters would have appreciated some insight and quotability, too, but that's just us.)

Jeter finished two spots ahead of NBA commissioner Adam Silver and five above Taylor Swift. (The late Robin Williams was No. 1.)

Three sports figures made the "worst" list: Donald Sterling at No. 1, Roger Goodell at No. 4 and ESPN's Stephen A. Smith at No. 7.
