Despite his failure to pose shirtless for GQ or to reach the playoffs the past two years, Eli Manning is more marketable than Mark Sanchez, according to a survey by Nielsen.

The company’s “N-Score’’ measures marketability using several criteria, including awareness, buzz and likeability, and rates Manning sixth among active quarterbacks, behind Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Donovan McNabb, Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers.

Manning’s ranking is boosted by his 33 percent awareness rating, compared to 16 for Sanchez. But both Sanchez and the Jets are leaders in online “buzz,’’ which could cause their young quarterback’s stature to rise rapidly if the Jets keep winning big prime-time games on national TV.
