ESPN, TGC play ball w/Tiger
The definitive piece on how the Tiger Woods interviews went down on ESPN and the Golf Channel Sunday, from SI.com's Richard Deitsch.
Speaking of SI, it put Northern Iowa's Ali Farokhmanesh on the cover this week.
Why not Cornell? One factor could be that the magazine tries to avoid cover subjects that play important games on Thursday night, lest they lose and mess up newsstand sales. (Northern Iowa plays on Friday night.)
That's OK. Cornell can wait until next week for its first basketball cover.
