Fox and Time Warner have extended their talks over a retransmission deal past the original midnight deadline, perhaps allowing TWC customers to watch the Sugar Bowl Friday night.

Mrs. WatchDog is more concerned about the dispute between Scripps and Cablevision (which owns Newsday) that has knocked HGTV and the Food Network off our TVs.
