Giants to have a regular TV postgame show for first time

Anita Marks - former women's professional football quarterback, former Playboy model, former Baltimore sports talk host, etc. - has been turning up regularly on WFAN in recent days, but that only is the start of her growing New York media portfolio.

Come football season, she will work the Giants' radio postgames, replacing Russ Salzberg. (Paul Dottino will handle the pregame coverage.)

Salzberg, meanwhile, will host the 13 Giants postgame shows planned for Channel 9 in 2010.

By moving the postgame from Channel 5 to its sister station, the Giants will avoid the conflicts with doubleheader games on Fox that regularly pre-empted their postgames.

So, belatedly, Big Blue will join the other eight New York-area football, baseball, basketball and hockey teams in having a consistent postgame presence on television.
