‘Hahn, Humpty and Canty’ highlights to air on MSG from May-September

It’s a sports media tradition that dates all the way to 2016: Once again this late spring and summer, MSG will fill some of the post-basketball/hockey gap in its schedule by showing a television version of ESPN New York Radio’s midday “Hahn, Humpty and Canty” show.
Every Monday through Thursday from May 1 through Sept. 14, a “best of” show featuring Alan Hahn, Rick DiPietro and Chris Canty will shown from 7 to 9 p.m.
The radio version of the show is three hours long. The TV version is edited into two hours, including the deletion of elements that might be timely at noon but dated at 8 p.m.
Neil Best first worked at Newsday in 1982, returned in 1985 after a detour to Alaska and has been here since, specializing in high schools, college basketball, the NFL and most recently sports media and business.
