It's still early in the Islanders' pinch-me-this-can't-be-real start to the 2014-15 season, but so far TV ratings reflect growing - albeit still modest - interest in the team.

Through Tuesday night's game, the Isles were averaging 0.55 percent of homes on MSG Networks, up 15 percent from the same point last season.

That figure, should they keep winning and maintain it through early spring, would be up 62 percent over the average for all of 2013-14, 12 percent over '12-13, 162 percent over '11-12 and 83 percent over '10-11.

Meanwhile, NBC and NBCSN originally had zero Islanders games on their national schedule.

NBCSN added an Islanders-Sharks game last month and has some flexibility to show more of the Islanders if interest warrants it.
