Jennifer Botterill, a three-time Olympic gold medalist for Canada, will join MSG Networks' Islanders coverage this season as a studio analyst, beginning with Tuesday night's game against the Canucks, MSG plans to announce on Monday afternoon.

Botterill will work about 20 games this season, joining AJ Mleczko, her former Harvard teammate and an Olympic gold medalist for the United States who also began working select Islanders games this season.

Botterill will join host/reporter Shannon Hogan for pregame, intermission and postgame coverage on MSG Plus.

She scored the game-winning goal in overtime in the 1999 NCAA championship game for Harvard off an assist from Mleczko, and is the only two-time winner of the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award, given to the best player in women's college hockey.
