Given the power of the Yankees brand and the rise of the secondary market, the run-up to Derek Jeter 3,000th hit will be one of the most closely watched events in the history of sports ticket speculation.

As of Monday morning, the site pointed to June 20 at the Reds as its best guess. Average resale ticket price for that day: $115. For now.
