He's back, bro.

Joe Benigno is returning to the WFAN airwaves this fall, just in time for the former longtime host and die-hard Jets fan to opine on the upcoming NFL season.

The announcement was made Friday afternoon on WFAN's "Carton and Roberts" show. Benigno co-hosted WFAN's "Joe and Evan" midday show with Evan Roberts from 2007 until Benigno's retirement in November 2020.

Benigno will host select Saturday shows on WFAN, both solo and alongside Roberts, beginning Sept. 10. Benigno also will work alongside Roberts during WFAN's afternoon show on Aug. 11 and 12, with Craig Carton previously scheduled to be off.

Benigno also will have a regular call-in segment on Mondays during WFAN's "Tiki and Tierney" midday show with Tiki Barber and Brandon Tierney.
