Kansas survives Cornell, barely
Valiant 71-66 loss for Cornell at No. 1 Kansas.
Big Red, which led with 49 seconds left, clearly has earned a No. 8 or 9 seed with its nonconference heroics, assuming it wipes out the Ivy League as expected.
Interesting experience in modern sports media tonight.
Started out listening to Cornell radio feed online, but that eventually sold out and shut me off.
Then switched to Kansas radio feed online via a station in Wichita. Then to a presumably illegal live video stream. Then to final minute on ESPN2.
Cornell was impressive in every medium, but not quite impressive enough to stop Sherron Collins.
Sigh.
