Keith Hernandez reached a deal in principle Tuesday for a new contract with SNY. Hernandez’s contract was set to expire before the start of the coming season. The agreement means SNY will retain the same three-man booth it has used for Mets games throughout its history. Gary Cohen and Ron Darling are under contract and expected back for the trio’s 11th season together in 2016.
