Lindenhurst's own Dan Lauria to play Lombardi on Broadway
Here's something a little different.
It's a story I wrote for the Friday paper based on a chat I had with Lindenhurst's own Dan Lauria in Manhattan last week.
Mr. Lauria is playing the title role in "Lombardi," a Broadway show about the famed coach that opens at Circle in the Square Oct. 21.
Lauria still has a soft spot in his heart for Long Island in general and Lindenhurst in particular. He grew up a Giants fan, even though his fictional son in "The Wonder Years" always wore a Jets jacket.
Here is the Web site for the show.
