Major cable companies - including Cablevision, which owns Newsday - are offering a free preview of the MLB Extra Innings package from tonight through Wednesday.
The idea is to promote the purchase of the package for the remainder of the season.
But whether or not you choose to do so, it is difficult to beat the price for the first week's worth of games from around the leagues.
