MLB Network delivers perfectly

Speaking of Dallas Braden (see post below), the MLB Network came through with live perfect game coverage for the second time in its two seasons, showing the final three innings of the Athletics game Sunday.

The network will replay the entire game beginning at 12:30 p.m. today.

As for A-Rod's Yankees . . . They are in the middle of an extraordinary stretch in which six of seven games will be shown on national TV:

The MLB Network Wednesday and Friday, Fox Saturday, ESPN Sunday, Monday and Wednesday.

(UPDATE: Make that seven out of eight. They're on MLBN again Thursday!)

Friday I made a "crazy, out-on-a-limb" prediction on Twitter that the Yankees and Red Sox would complete their three-game series in less than 10 hours.
