MSG, Giants discuss TV deal
MSG and the Giants are discussing a programming partnership similar to the one SNY has with the Jets, three people familiar with the discussions said.
The deal, which would take effect for the 2010 season, presumably would include carrying some of Tom Coughlin's news conferences live as well as other programming during the week and on Sunday mornings.
But the postgame show already is spoken for by Channel 9, which will provide coverage after all 12 day games and the one prime time game the Giants will play at home.
Before this season, the Giants did not have a consistent postgame presence on local television.
