The 2018 NFL Draft promises to be the most closely followed in New York football history, with the Giants and Jets picking second and third overall. There will be no shortage of outlets on which fans can follow it.
ESPN, Fox and the NFL Network are planning unprecedented coverage of the April 26-28 event.
The NFL announced the particulars on Wednesday, including the fact that Fox and the NFL Network will simulcast the first three rounds and ABC will simulcast ESPN’s coverage of the last four rounds from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
That means all seven rounds will be available on broadcast outlets for the first time.
The NFL Network/Fox coverage will be produced by the NFL Network but feature Fox personalities, including lead NFL game analyst Troy Aikman for the first round.
ESPN will televise the draft for the 39th year in a row, supplemented in the first round by college-themed coverage on ESPN2 under the “College GameDay” brand.
