NMS will be MetLife soon
When New Meadowlands Stadium opens its second NFL season Sunday night with the Jets hosting the Bengals, it will have the same generic name it used in 2010.
But an expected naming rights deal with MetLife should be announced in time for the Sept. 11 regular-season opener between the Cowboys and Jets, a person familiar with the plans indicated.
Sports Business Journal reported in June that MetLife was close to a naming rights sponsorship.
