Northport, other bands, at Hofstra

I skipped opening night at "Lombardi" (see post below) to take my eldest daughter to the final night of the Newsday Marching Band Festival - my triumphant return to the big event after a 32-year absence.

I particularly enjoyed the performances of Malverne, Central Islip and Uniondale.

But the best band of the night? Do you really need to ask? It was the one that closed the festival, as usual, because, really, who would want to follow that act?
