NYCFC soccer games to air on YES

The YES Network announced yesterday that it will be the local TV home of New York City Football Club, a new MLS franchise that debuts in March. This did not come as a surprise, given that the Yankees are part owners of the team and that its home games initially will be played at Yankee Stadium.
Games will be streamed live via Fox Sports GO for viewers whose providers have streaming deals with YES. The streaming option is important, as there will be times when NYCFC games conflict with NYY games. YES might find a broadcast channel home for soccer when such conflicts arise and/or it could show some soccer games on a delayed basis.
