The Giants' Odell Beckham Jr. continues to attract extraordinary social media attention for a rookie receiver on an also-ran team.

Over the past four weekends Beckham (@OBJ_3) has ranked as the first-, third-, fourth- and third-most-mentioned NFL player on Twitter.

Not even Lawrence Taylor pulled off a four-week run in the top four as a rookie phenom in 1981. (It hurt that he debuted 25 years too early for Twitter.)

By the way, the second-highest trending sports-related Twitter hashtag of 2014 in the U.S. was #WorldCup.
