One Shining Moment 2011

Thanks to CBS for bringing back the Luther Vandross version of "One Shining Moment." No disrespect to Jennifer Hudson, who did a fine job last year, but Luther is Luther and "One Shining Moment" is a tradition unlike any other, to borrow a phrase from CBS' Jim Nantz.

Once your bracket explodes on Sweet 16 weekend, the only reason to watch the national championship is for the highlight montage at the end of the post-game celebration. It will always be the best highlight clip reel in sports. Why? Because it moves you, it makes you wish you were either still in college or already in college.

An added bonus this year, thanks to CBS' partnership with Turner Sports, was a Marv Albert soundbite from VCU's Elite Eight victory. And, of course, there's the obligatory "Onions!" call from Bill Raftery. Never gets old.
