The Rangers' average rating for games on NBCSN this season was up 42 percent compared with last season -- the fourth-highest such rise for teams that played more than one game on the network.

Only the Ducks, Wild and Blues rose by higher percentages.

The Rangers averaged 2.01 percent of homes for their games on NBCSN, up from 1.42 last season.

For all games, Buffalo was the highest-rated market for games on NBCSN, as usual, despite the Sabres' poor season.
