Show goes on at Jets camp
Just another morning at Jets camp . . .
On the way in from the parking lot I walked past ESPN's camp tour bus (featuring Bellmore Kennedy High's own Adam Schefter), the Super Bowl-style radio row set up for today and an NFL Films camera shooting Mike Westhoff pulling into camp on his bicycle.
And NFL Films is debuting its "chopper cam," a remote camera mounted in a 25-pound mini-helicopter hovering over the field. Seriously.
Plus, Joe Namath is here today!
Interesting contrast for me. Monday I was with the Giants in Albany, where the big excitement was whether the cafeteria would or would not get a frozen yogurt machine by the end of camp.
Little or no blogging today. Enjoy a day and night without thinking about Alex Rodriguez' 600th home run.
