Last week, NBA star Kevin Durant accused ESPN's Stephen A. Smith of "lying" about a report that the Oklahoma City forward was thinking about playing for the Los Angeles Lakers when he becomes a free agent after this season.

"I don't talk to Stephen A. Smith at all," Durant said via the Oklahoman. "Nobody in my family, my friends, they don't talk to Stephen A. Smith. So he's lying. … He's making up stories."

On Monday's edition of "First Take," Smith responded.

After defending himself for 10 minutes or so, Smith turned his head and stared right into the camera.

"You don't wanna make an enemy out of me," he said.

He furthered that point with this: "And I'm looking right into the camera and I'm gonna say it again: You do NOT want to make an enemy out of me. I'm not having it. I've done nothing wrong and I'm not gonna tolerate it."
