Steve Phillips gets Sirius XM gig
WatchDog has learned that Steve Phillips will, indeed, get a full-time gig as co-host of the morning show on Sirius XM's "Mad Dog Radio," effective Monday.
Phillips will partner with Gary Williams and also continue co-hosting a fantasy sports show for Sirius XM.
The new job will preclude Phillips from making his regular appearances on Mike Francesa's WFAN show - he also filled in as a host at the station - but represents another step back on the road to rehabilitating his career after he was let go by ESPN last autumn.
